Emotacons?

Recommended Posts

Are they turned off/not activated? Remember one evening not too long ago, they were working. If a poster can use them, how do you turn them on?.....Buck

I found the listing on the right, unchecked and rechecked, but still none.

The toolbar, emoticons don't show up using an IPAD either! It's a "Pain."

If you click on "show all" it'll give you the directions to type them in. I had to do that ever since I got an IMAC. I'm using Safari and I guess it doesn't recognize the emoticons.

No. It's "How do we turn *them* on," not "How do we turn *you* on?"

It might work for the emoticons too, you'll never know if you don't try!

Harvey when you go to "reply to this topic" you'll see all the stuff in the toolbar above and click on the smiley face and then all the emoticons will show up. You then click on show all. Hope that helps.

Look for the tiny arrow to the right of the last emoticon.

When you want to reply to a topic, click on the "More reply options" in the lower right hand corner of the reply box. A new reply box will pop up with two rows of editing options across the top. Make sure you click on the "Lightswitch" button on the top LEFT side of the box and that will turn on all the editing features......

Thanks for the suggestions pards, but on my older MAC(with old SW), I do not even get a toolbar with ANY emoticons. I do get it with my new work computer/software, so I guess I'll just have to modernize the home one!

Thanks,

Harvey
