No matter which code I copy from the picture in Photobucket I cannot paste it into a reply here. I can paste it in google, the search forums, anywhere else but here. If I use the little green Image box above it tells me I've exceeded my allowance. If I use the Link box above I can apparently post a link to the image in Photobucket.

Going into town to resupply, will play with it later :)

I can't seem to post a photo. I don't have a photobucket account. But I did figure out how to highlight words.

See the little box third from the upper left, just right of the Font list? Open it and select "Background." Then, change " to the color you want.

Could someone that is actually getting this to work click the <> icon and then put the code in the code box that pops up so I can see it? :P

Thanks

Is there a way to post pictures if you do not have a photobucket account whatever that is.

Yepper... I get the same error. It posts the image in the Reply Box just fine but then when I hit POST.... it errors me out. Maybe BH knew what she looked like already. :P

Get "the posted more pictures than allowed error" as well

First post on the new wire

I wonder if there is a size limitation on posting that we are not aware of

Weird (the whole SASS Wire has been a weird one for me today  ) - tried to 'quote' Ivory Jack's post...but got the same message.

Most boards require the use of a image service like Photobucket, Flicker, or whatever. Once you open an account (usually free) you can download images from your computer to the photo sharing site, and from there you can post them to forums like this one. I use Photobucket, but others work as well I guess. Google Photobucket.

StateChampionship.jpgThe only way I could get it to copy from Photobucket was to click on the "icon" at the top right of photo........Box will open.......choose bottom IMG code, click on it , paste in your reply here............Mink.......

I click on the image button on the toolbar and paste the picture url from my photbucket account into the field

It appears in the message window; but errors when I hit post

I can edit a message without error but have to use the full editor in order to do so

Missed a step when copying from Photobucket......after clicking on the icon at top right, click on the "get links" option......then choose the IMG Code and copy and paste............

Brother King, open the pic you want on Photobucket. Click on the "IMG code" choice and it will copy. Then put the cursor where you want it in your post and paste. Done. Don't use the "image" tool on the reply tool bar.

Thanks, Grizz.... if I go back in and try to EDIT it gives the error message again even though the image is already posted.

Ok, how's it done? Tried posting one and got an error that I had posted more images than allowed...

This not a restriction of the software which does allows more than one picture in a post ... it's that who ever has the keys to the admin side of the software restricted one picture or doesn't know how to allow more than one. Sure would like to see this expanded because it will take more bandwidth to create multiple threads to show more than one picture from a given poster ... Oh well!

Thanks for the info I think if somebody needs pictures I will just email them to them. Working with all this software is just too much of a headache.

John Boy, who made your dies? they look mighty nice.

Slim - Accurate Molds ... http://www.accuratemolds.com/

Not only does Tom, the owner, make great FN molds, his service is best in the industry.

Here's an example: The mold I posted is a 9.5x47R obsolete caliber maded in 1880 for a rifle that I have in that caliber - a Martini Action Schutzen rifle ... fully engraved and no information on the bullet. On the ASSRA site one of the members posted a picture of the bullet from a 1915 German Bullet Catalog. So between my chamber cast and fiddling with a CAD drawing from a member in Idaho, we put the dimensions together. Then sent the CAD to Tom on a Sunday. Tom had it in the catalog on Monday - I ordered the mold that Monday and it was in my mail box on the following Friday. Never have I had that kind of service. And to boot, the mold casts like a dream!

I recommend Accurate Molds to every one!

Thats definitely a benefit to the new software!

Nice!

Misty

Only took 16 years of whinnin' and beggin'! BUT, have a pity on those with dial-up... keep 'em reasonably sized.
