Persuader, SASS # 74492
I have one of these http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=329317107 In excellent condition, no box or papers. Fair price to ask?
Doc Fill 'Em 67797
If I wanted one, considering today's prices, I'd think $750 a fair asking price. But what do I know?
Krazy Kajun
Haven't seen one of those before. How many 38's fit in a 16" tube?
Lead Ringer
Haven't seen one of those before. How many 38's fit in a 16" tube? I think the 16" model 94 will hold nine .38spl? Ringer
Krazy Kajun
I think the 16" model 94 will hold nine .38spl? Ringer Well...guess it wouldn't work for SASS shooting then...still it's a nice gun.
Mustang Gregg
:FlagAm: I sure looks like a nice little carbine! It could work, but M-1894's are slow and might not hold 10 shots. But not most SASS shooter's choice. I'll wager the seller will get his asking price before it's over. MG
Rye Miles #13621
The question is who's gonna want it? No CAS shooter that's fer sure. I'd say maybe $450.00???
Abilene, SASS # 27489
I started with one just like it in '99 (because I didn't know any better), except it was in 45LC. Paid around $275 used at a gunshow. I would not pay even that much now if it was for CAS. Might be an okay brush gun.
Manatee
I paid $350 for one in 45LC ten years ago. Add $100 for inflation......
Skinny Preacher, SASS #66418
I think my '94 was around $300...45LC. Mine was actually made in the USA, some are stamped Japan. Good gun, but not a period correct caliber...and kinda wierd me shooting '58 percussion revolvers with a '94 rifle. But still it looks the part and was a dependable gun for me. Still have it and it will kick you smartly with +P rounds ;-)
Dirtwater Doc 17941
Seller is probably trying to cash in on the crazy escalation of prices for 1894 Marlins in 357. DD
