Sgt. John Campbell, SASS #58165
There are several other listings for 550's going on as well, with the same high bid prices. Almost makes me want to list one of my 550's for sale.
Marlin Buckhorn,SASS 51727
A possible reason for the high prices is that Dillon is several weeks behind on their reloading projects. I saw a Dillon swager for military crimps at $160.00+ well before the bidding was done. RCBS & Lee are also behind on availability.
Snakebite Dust SASS 75484
Never thought a reloader to be an investment
Marshal TKD, Sass # 36984L
Dillon is saying 6 to 8 weeks before they ship anything. So people are going else where. Plus side to that one is it is a 223 set up.
Skinny Preacher, SASS #66418
i just bought a Super 1050 for my dad recently and it took a while to come in. their phone bank is full and email replies are way behind. the quality of the unit is excellent and the manual was the best I've seen. since they are so busy, it probably is best to not judge their customer service too harshly. i got a little upset with them, but they got the product to me eventually. Kid Kneestone SASS #14851
Supply and demand at work again. Stands to reason with everybody buying up guns and ammo whenever available, that a shortage on reloading items would follow suit. As has been mentioned lately, a few people are taking advantage of the situation. Human nature I supppose, but still not always appreciated. With a little luck, we will see prices come back down as manufacturers catch up with orders? Well, we can hope so anyway! Kid Kneestone
