Eamon Chute
After being catless for the last 4+ years, Dar Dar Plinks and I just adopted a pair of 2 year-old bonded brothers from the animal shelter. They were there for a couple of months un-chosen. Probably 'cuz they are both jet black. I understand not many folks want bonded pairs to begin with, and way too many people around here are superstitious regarding "black" cats. They are exploring the house carefully and I am kept busy picking up everything they've knocked over, pulled down, got into, torn apart.....you get the idea. No pictures yet 'cuz they don't stay still long enough for the darn digital camera to focus! And Dar Dar named them Otter and Snowball :wacko:/> I'm sure you get the irony. Calamity Kris
In Germany it's considered good luck to have a black cat. My cousin has two of them for that reason. I had a Maine Coon black cat mix. He was solid black and huge. Loved that boy. Congrats on adopting them. I'm sure you'll you will all have many years of joy together. Please post picks as soon as you can.
