Judah MacAbee SASS #64095 Life
I'm selling my .44 Special Uberti 1866 20" Octagonal Barrel Short Rifle. $950 FTF in Phoenix, AZ. I don't shoot it any more as I've gone exclusively to .44WCF. I cut the crescent buttplate off so the butt is flat. The Uberti stock finish was removed and the stock refinshed with linseed oil. It has a C&I action job with short stroke. (I think the short stroke is a generation 2). It's not that short a throw, but it makes extraction and ejection more positive. Sorry no pictures - The rifle will be at ACSA this coming weekend, at Cowtown the following weekend and then at Winter Range Thanks Judah
