Nobody that I know... would willingly sell to a convicted felon or a screwed-up unpredictable wierdo, who could harm somebody. My take... universal background checks would mean the absolute END to "private sales".... gunshows or not. If you have to get "government approval" before a private sale, the government can also stop that sale with an executive order carried out by the BATFE. Think about that...
