Chronograph, CED M2

I have the old origional CED chronograph, it works ok but will not communicate with newer higher speed computers. The newer version the M2, supposedly works with the 32 bit computers but will it work with the even newer 64 bit computers? If it wont communicate with the computers of today, it is no better to me than the old origional CED chronograph. No sense up grading to the M2 if it wont talk to my computer.

Do any of you folks have one? and Ideas or opinions to consider before I do order one?
