Frazee Ridge, SASS #54171 Posted January 18, 2013 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Hey Pards: My wonderful wife is getting me a spectacular gift for my upcoming 70th. birthday. Getting a Wild Bunch 1911 from Turnbull Mfg. Seems like 70 is quite a milestone so she thought I should have the gun and a trip to the SASS Christmas bash in December. Speaking of that, I have never been to one of these events and don't know what to expect. I assume that I will be attending on my own and hope to get to meet some of you folks that post in the Saloon. Lots of vendors?, can I pick up some new duds?. Becky may decide to come with me and if so, can she come to the banquet without dressing the part? She is not a shooter and has no interest in getting involved, except to support me and keep me company. Any information/advice would be appreciated. Thanks for reading.
