I'm feeling a bit brighter today. Can't point to any one event, but the tone seems to be shifting a bit. Comments in some of the papers hereabouts are starting to reflect some recognition of the FACTS regarding the recent shootings, and some grasp of the fact that disarming lawful folks is not the answer to our problems.
