1894 Marlin Century Limited 44-40

Recommended Posts

SOLD

Here is a very beautiful unfired rifle, a true collectors item or at today's prices a shooter. As you see from the pictures the receiver and lever is fully engraved and beautifully case colored. Marlin JM marked 24" hexagon barrel in 44-40 caliber. The exceptional butt stock wood is highlighted with a solid brass crescent butt plate. The exceptional wood of the forearm and butt stock are finely checkered.

Made in 1994 this rifle is one of only 2500 made. As many people are aware original Marlin rifles are becoming more and more sought after as Remington is having a very hard time producing a quality Marlin 1894. I have seen new old stock of the Marlin Cowboy Limited priced at $1400.00 and saw one sell for over $1200.00 on Gunbroker. So if you buy this rifle you can decide whether it is to be a shooter or a collectible.

As you see in the pictures I have the original box but no paper work. The box and the foam liner tray are not pristine.

Price is firm at $1150.00 plus shipping & insurance of your choice. USPS should be about $35.00. Sorry no trades at this time.

Thanks for looking, enjoy the pictures!

I still have one of these at home that is a shooter. It had been rode hard and put away wet several times when I traded for it. Thankfully the engraving and color case was still nearly perfect. Had to reblue the barrel and magazine tube but it is again a real beauty.

Thanks again Buckey,

Marlin
