I think it was either in the '00 or '04 election season (what's the bag limit on elections anyway? and what is the best way to cook 'em?) something sounded real familiar, so I dug out my Doonesbury collections and scanned through them, and right there from the Reagan years, almost the same cast of characters, same issues, prit-near same everything.
