Marlin Buckhorn,SASS 51727
Train Robber That is exactly how the gun works. I don't have any books to prove it but I have several H&R revolvers and they all work that way. I even had a gun dealer "steal" a very fine example of one of these guns before I became educated on the revolver. Told me the gun was unsafe and nobody wants one because of the free spinning cylinder. The revolvers are safe to carry when fully loaded because the firing pin sticks through the frame. The firing pin rests between 2 shell casings. The cylinder locks in line with the barrel when it is cocked. Cocking can be done in single action or double action. Chickasaw Bill SASS #70001
TR looking at the breakdown in the NRA book on a 922 and having a 930 on the desk , I thhink there is a possabality of a non working cyl stop . The 930 , deffentaly locks up with out any roll back , the 922 appears to be the same setup , so I am not sure on the one you have . CB
