J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 What else can I say? You could PM me your number if you don't have mine.
J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE Posted November 7, 2012 Author Posted November 7, 2012 Good question I intentionally put it in my robe pocket Sunday morning I intentionally put the robe in the washing machine later that morning I intentionally started the machine. I suppose it was unintentional that I forgot the phone was in the robe pocket. . . then again, maybe it was not so much unintentional as it was subconscious Still it is certainly less troublesome than when I shot my prior washing machine with a 12 ga lol
Paladin Gun For Hire Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 Sometimes the phone can be saved by pulling the sim card and battery, then sticking it in a bowl of uncooked rice for a few days. Put everything back together and try to fire it up.
Clueless Bob Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 When I first saw this topic this morning, I was wondering if too many election results!! LOL. Try the rice unless it didn't survive the wash cycle and it came out in pieces.
Yellowhouse Sam # 25171 Posted November 7, 2012 Posted November 7, 2012 If you killed your phone why do you need our numbers?
J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE Posted November 7, 2012 Author Posted November 7, 2012 Phone was covered under a replacement plan, so it didn't cost me anything but time to get another phone. I knew the rice trick, but my phone was on and tumbling in water and wet clothes. I suspect the electronics would be toast, but had no reason to try and fix the phone. The election was enough to make me destroy my phone, but given my fears of economic difficulties ahead, I can't afford to waste resources.
