Just where is Oklahoma located? Near New England?

Actually the world revolves around Oklahoma. Everything is referred to from Oklahoma. Where is Washington? Somewhere northwest of Oklahoma. Geography 101.

Purdue lost to Ohio State in OT.

OSU got revenge for last year.

LSU won a squeaker. Alabama has no worries about LSU this year. They better worry more about Mississippi State.

SC vs. Florida looks to be a good one.

Michigan had its 900th win today...couldn't have been against a better team :D

Trailing 9-10 they make a 38yrd FG with 5 seconds left to play....winning 12-10.

GREAT JOB MICHIGAN

I think MI leads in all-time number of college wins as well. I think I read where only they lead TX in number of wins.

Sam, you almost wrecked TT with your pre ending predictions. Remind me not to bet on your suggestions. I could have heart failure. They don't get much closer than that game.

Game of the week in my book.

Looks like a tough day for Dynamite Dalton, Okie.

Kansas State is taking it to them, at home too.

But, and there is always a but, SLIPPERY ROCK won. :)

People haven't given K-State enough credit. They are a tough team. I predicted they would whip WV. Their defense is too much for WV.

So my predictions:

Bama rolls over Tennessee (little worried about McCarron's knee though)

South Carolina gets beat by Florida, especially with Lattimore out (can't trust Spurrier on that one though)

West Virginia beats Kansas State.

LSU beats Texas A&M

Maybe OSU over Iowa

I guess those are the only big games being played that are competitive.

How could I forget, guess I'll have to pick the Scots over Slippery Rock.

So, McCarron's knee looked good, the Vols D looked bad, Bama defense rocked. 539 yard of total offense for Bama vs 282 for the Vols, gotta give it to them though that's about 150 yards more than Bama allows on average. +1

Florida rocked South Carolina as expected. +1

West Virgina loses to K state -1

LSU beats Texas A&M +1

OSU beats Iowa State +1

So, 4 out of 5 ain't bad, I don't count the Slippery Rock prediction, them high school teams are too damn unpredictable. ;)

Look at the Notre Dame win, I've been saying, they aren't as good as their ranking indicates. If that's the best they can do against BYU they're in trouble when they hit OK and USC, we'll see next week.

Looking at the results over the week end, I would say that the Michigan/Ohio State matchup this year will

be a donnybrook. I believe that Ohio State has the edge but in that game, you throw out all the stats and just watch the kids play. Those two teams just do not like each other.

ND is ranked #5 across the boards. Being a ND fan and supporter, I have to admit that I think that is a bit optimistic. There are a few teams out there that might dispute that ranking, given a chance.
