Price check Winchester 32 was

Recommended Posts

Serial 1487xxx. Any ideas on ball park price for a friend? I don't know anything about older gun prices. Thanks in advance for any help.

Are you asking about a Winchester model '94 carbine in .32 Win spl?

Model '94 carbines mfg. 1940-1964 without saddle-ring run about $200-$600 depending on condition.

+1

The serial number puts its date of manufacture during WW II, so it is definitely a pre-'64. Hard to find a pre-64 in really superb condition, but if this one looks really nice it could go as high as $700 or more...I've seen a couple in the fine gun rooms at Bass Pro and Cabela's.

The usual everyday plain Jane used not terribly abused ones are tagged about $350, and the beat up ones are tagged at $200. The .32 is less common than the 30-30 and that cuts both ways; if someone really really wants the .32 Special he might pay a few bucks extra, but otherwise its an oddball caliber that would actually decrease the price. Which doesn't help you much, I know, but there you go.

There are Winchester collectors on the Wire, and if you could get them a picture they could get closer than this guess.
