Clueless Bob
Times don't change much. We still do/did things like this now. UNOFFICIALLY of course. Stationed in England, we had a pilot flying back from Germany. He loaded some red wine bottles in an unpressurized area near the IFR door. He took off with his wing man. Alittle while into the flight, the wing man noticed a hydro leak near the IFR door and informed the pilot. He landed and a crew chief was sent. Officially, it was a hydro leak, tightened line, but it seemed he was never out of some very good single malt scotch while that pilot was there. Long after the pilot left, the real story surfaced.
