They don't last. To be honest, you are right about most of the guys here, with one or two definite exceptions. My mother wasn't skinny, some of my best female friends, and BlueJeans female friends aren't skinny, yet all are beautiful. Then again, back in my youth, some friends that are skinny, are some I try to walk a mile around from being with. I never judge, male or females by outer matters, but whats inside. There is just no way to win it with a seriously, well- thought, truthful answer. It's a sign of the times that media continues to throw calendars and pinups in the trash heap of history. A guy can't even find a tool company calendar these days. Still, we're forced to read how 'big is beautiful' and the new standard seems to be a BMI approaching 40 is the only printable PC image. Even Victoria's Secret is bending to the new normal. So, the question may be honestly asked, but the response is a conditioned one for most thinking men. Be PC or be forever labeled mysogynist or worse. The simple truth is probably closer to, "I've loved them everyone" for most of us. And in our fantasy world, well pick up a men's magazine and it'll tell ya all you need to know.... and more- it'll tell you what we won't tell ya. As an exercise professional (I've moonlighted off and on for 30+ years as a personal trainer) it's awfully difficult these days to not be extremely concerned for our age group. Obesity is rampant and the increasing incidents of diabetes and heart disease, added to aging joints and the need for orthopedic prosthesis (hips, knees, etc.) are beginning to make the baby boomers generation a surgeon's annuity program and a Viagra Nation. Say what you want, the new tendancy to be overweight and under exercised is killing us and worse, it's seriously endangering our quality of life. Our health, once it's gone, is virtually impossible to buy back. I'm afraid that obesity is becoming the new normal. That doesn't bode well for our golden years spent on dialysis, diabetes, heart disease, and all the complications that come with poor diets and sedentary life styles. My Aunt Maude was built like a grizzly and had an attitude to match, made my uncle's life h**l. I steer clear of women built like grizzlies. And women with attitudes like grizzlies. And women who smell like grizzlies. Just addressing the appearance thing, given that personality is the most important characteristic of course, a waist is a nice thing for a woman to have. It is not so much the poundage as how it is arranged. Smaller in the middle with pleasing enlargements above and below will receive much admiration.
