A Big Thanks

I would like to say thanks to the N.Y. Tioga Cowboys for helping me out so I could participate in The Showdown Aug. 24-26. It might not seem like much, but to me it was a big deal.A special thanks goes out to Match Director, Dusty Drifter and TG Pete Gabriel. They came up with a class I could shoot called the Josey Wales class (pistols only). On May 20 of this year I was in a severe motorcycle accident when a deer hit ME broadside and durn near killed me. I had a broken clavicle, broken tibia (leg), 7 broken ribs,punctured lung (2 places) and severe concussion. I still can't pick up a long gun and shotgun recoil would do even more damage to my shoulder.Pistols wear me out after a day of shooting but at least I'm still alive and should be able to get back to normal by next season.I'm just glad of the thoughtfulness of my fellow cowboys, so I could participate in a sport I love.
