Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L
Some people have a special passion for the things they like (well....the real train guy shown in the 'rest of the story' link) - no problem by me. Just like how some soldiers have a passion for their 'My Little Pony' club and desires - GG ~

Professor Tull, SASS #66742
I was standing in the city swimming pool in Holdenville, Oklahoma, in July 1953, when one of the above locomotives came rumbling by, pulling 121 cars.It was awesome.Nowadays it take from 3 to 6 diesel locomotives to pull the same amount of cars.Steam Rules ! ! !Professor Tull
EE Taft
I get excited with steam locos, but no foam I like 'em.....Don't go crazy. One loco that I've seen that is very cool and unusual is a two or three truck Shay.... .......Now that's a cool machine! Midwest Old Threashers rebuilt one in Mt. P, Iowa. Got to take ride in the cab a few years back with a friend of the family that is an engineer for the Midwest Old Threashers. If ya ever get a chance to see one you can't miss it. The pistons move up and down on the sides of the loco. Make it look like a galloping horse. One of the coolest steamers you'll ever see! ~EE~
