WTB - crickett, bearcat S & W 15-22

what kinda Bearcat?

blue or stainless ruger bearcat. finish not really important. My daughter loves a bearcat and her sister is probably going to be smaller than she is and will likely need a bearcat. She is 10 months old now but is in the lower percentile for height and weight. Plump still, just short. Myoldest uses a ruger 10-22 but I figure the youngest may have to start with a crickett. Her youngest brother is small as well so I figure a crickett for him as well.

Bud's has New Model Bearcats on Gunbroker @ $380 + shipping.

Here's a nice old model @ $350 - http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=297775364

And an unfired New Model @ $329 - http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=297963669

I've got seven old models in my collection that I'd sell, but the cost of shipping a handgun is too often a deal killer, and I'd have to clear $350 - $375 each on five of them, a little less on the other two. Add shipping, insurance, and FFL fees onto that, and you'd be at or over $400. I've also got a very nice Rogue Rifle Chipmunk I'd part with, but it has a wood stock. Chipmunks/Cricketts are so cheap, you'd have to find one for a hundred bucks or thereabouts to make it worthwhile over buying a new one locally. I think the Cricketts are going for around $160 here. Bud's has MOBU camo synthetic stock Cricketts on gunbroker for $122 + $15 shipping.

The Bearcat was introduced in 1958, so the first four year's production are now C&R eligible - two of mine, maybe three, would fall into that category.

My FFL only charges me $10 when someone ships to me. It may not be a deal killer after all. Maybe you could email me about the estimated shipping cost for you to me at Lilburn, GA 30047. auburn4814@yahoo.com I do not have a C & R
