I am in the Jonesing stage. Saw some aftermarket barrel sites that claim better accuracy? True?

A fella round here has one and nothing else but the switch barrels for different calibers. IT will fit whatever hunting ya need. Target rifle? I don't know if I'd consider it that. It groups 1/2" or so in 7mm-08 and 300 WSM. I have pondered getting one myself as it offers a lot of flexibility. It's accuracy exceeds the my needs for hunting.

I'd put it this way, they are accurate rifles when paired with good optics and good quality ammunition, but so do a lot of rifles when ya think of it.
