Camporama is less than 30 days away! We can hardly wait. In the next 30 days, you will be receiving various e-mail updates on the camp.

We have a need for volunteers in two specific areas.

At this Camporama, we have more shooting sports available than ever before. We are looking for NRA certified or experienced shooting sports volunteers to assist range staff at the Archery, BB Gun, Air Rifle, .22, Black Powder, and Trap events. If you are interested in helping one or multiple days we need you. Morning and/or afternoon shifts available to those who enjoy shooting sports and would like to help make these events a great experience for the boys. If you can assist for as little as 4 hours we need to hear from you. Please contact Shad Arnold at shad@studioLucem.com.

We are also looking for men who can assist with our new Adventure Course that includes a high-ropes course with eight elements and a climbing/rappelling tower that has two zip lines. This course will be the centerpiece of Camporama. If you are interested in helping facilitate the course, our office will provide the training, equipment, food, and lodging you need! Interested volunteers are required to attend a three-day training session the weekend before Camporama on July 6, 7, and 8 (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday). Space is very limited. If you are interested, please contact Jim Allen at jallen@ag.org. Just as above, morning and afternoon shifts are available.

We are looking forward to seeing you next month. Check your e-mail often in the next 30 days for updates! Any NRA Instructors or Coaches in the St.Louis area that might be willing to help this camp for christian kids, thanks for your consideration and God Bless.

Howdy Mad River Merv,

I would recommend contacting the Gateway Shootist Society at the Arnold Pistol and Rifle club. I don't know what types of instructors they have - but I know they have NRA certified courses, so there's a really good chance they'll know a couple NRA instructors who can help.

Here's the link to the Arnold Pistol and Rifle club website - They have contact phone numbers on there: Arnold Pistol and Rifle club

Here's the link to the Gateway Shootist Society (the SASS club affiliated with the Arnold Pistol and Rifle club): SASSnet.com club listing - Gateway Shootist Society - you'll find phone numbers there for our cowboy pards.

Good Luck!
