T. H. O' Sullivan
In addition to the four hundred million rounds of .40 cal ammo, these rifles just mentioned, what about the ordering of 2717 MRAP vehicles? Why does DHS need 2717 mine resistant armoured vehicles? Do we have IEDs or anti-vehicular land mines here in the continental United States? Makes you wonder, doesn't it...... T.H. Fairshake
Why worry about the borders any longer? We can save millions of dollars by doing away with the Border Patrol as the President just gave 800,000 illegals the safety of his word. How can one man grant amnesty to all those people who are not US Citizens. I thought we had laws that had Courts and Judges and Congress to do these things. He has now made himself the KING OF THE US AND NO LONGER NEEDS TO WORK WITH IN THE BOUNDRIES OF THE US CONSITUTION!!

Do we have IEDs or anti-vehicular land mines here in the continental United States? Makes you wonder, doesn't it...... There seem to be a bucketload of reports about this... but all I've found seem to be on discussion forums. The most "solid" article I've found that mentions an order for 2,717 MRAP vehicles seems to indiate the order is for retrofit services for eithr ARMY or MARINE CORPS vehicles... no mention of Homeland Security. If the guns pass that test, three samples will be tested with an additional 3,500 rounds per firearm while the guns will also be tested for resilience in high temperature, low temperature, salt water immersion, sand and dust and drop conditions. I would assume that the new para-military organization called DHS would be used against recalcitrant U.S. citizens defying the newly "transformed" America rather than against drug cartels. What we need is a more potent Immigration and Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.) working with heavily armed local County Sheriffs if the violence on the border gets too bad. Not many land mines seen in El Paso,Texas, Columbus, New Mexico or Douglas, Arizona.
