WTB 73 in 357

Recommended Posts

As the title says, looking for a new or almost new, stock or almost stock 1873 in 357-

MUST be the youth/ladies model in 16 1/2 inch bbl and hold 10 38's.

I tried every vendor listed in the Cronicle without success.

geting a 16.125" trapper (AS advertized) to hold 10 rounds is possible but 10 x 1.55 OAL rounds only leaves about 3/4 inches of spring space. Go with the 20" easy to find balances well and 1.5 +\- inches of barrel is less weight than the 10 rounds!

Taylors has a half round half octagon 18 inch rifle that should weigh about the same. I just got a full octagon 18 inch Codymatic that easily holds 10 rounds from Cody, so I know he had them in stock two weeks ago.

Thanks you 1 and all for your advice.

I have both the 1/2 round/oct. bbl and 19 round bbl, but both are too heavy for Sassy.

So I'm still looking for that elusive ladies/youth model.

I did see the 1 on GB and have a bid in on it.

Thanks you all so very much for your time.

Bought the 1 on Gun Broker for $6.00 under dealers cost.

I can hardly wait for it to arrive.

Thanks again to 1 n all, especially Buck D. Law for the referral to GB.
