Six-Shot
The price is reduced because they are "junk". A couple of suppliers have stopped stocking them and stated they are "no longer available until further notice" (no back-orders accepted).
Doc Flimshaw Sass# 73310
I/ve had a couple of them in the past. They don't last long. I've had mine for years and it works just fine, after a couple of years a wire vibrated and broke off; resoldered it back and it's worked ever since. ........Doc

Straight Arrow Hombre
My frankford tumbler is 13 years old and looks like the blue harbor freight model and not like the current frankford arsenal model. It's run hundreds of hours with no issues.

Sure, I've had 3 in 10 years but I tumble for 4-5 hours at a time(I like shiny Brass) They are cheap enuff to get a new one when one breaks. Seamus McGillicuddy
Mine still works fine. I also like shiny brass & run it several hours at a time. Probably like a lot of inconsistent products; some folks get a Monday one, mine musta been made on Wednesday. Seamus
Marauder SASS #13056
They used to be a pretty good deal and lasted pretty well. But you know how products change. Carlos El Hombre
On one hand I had a Lymon that ran for thirty years before the moter shorted, on the other I have the Midway house brand that I have had to fix broken wires three times but it keeps going other than the wire problems. Wrangler Jones, SASS # 64178
I bought a Harbor Freight tumbler. First time I used it, it walked off a step in my garage, fell on its side, and disassembled itself. Never could figure out how to get it back together. That's a good price! I'd buy one if mine wasn't working perfectly fine after 6 years now. I't be a site to keep bookmarked though as they may still have the best price going, 2, 3, 10 years down the road. And I agree with your comment as I've tried to pass on site's, points of interest or the funniest was my personal experience with a product only to be told that I was lying and didn't know what I was talking about. Even though I saw it with my own two eyes. Some people just like to poop in their own pot. I've never figured that out. Smithy.

Snakebite
I have a very old Frankfort Armory tumbler that I have been using for at least 10 yrs now... maybe even longer. I also have a Cabela's tumbler, and it appears to be the EXACT same tumbler as my Frankfort Armory (except for color). They both work very well. On the other hand, I bought a Lyman 2200 Autoflo tumbler, and it just does not do as good of a job. The Autoflo function is worthless at getting the media out of the cases, yet it does a good job of getting it all over the floor! St. Louis Suomi SASS #31905
Howdy: I had a Midway for nearly 20 years - no problem - they had a recall, fixed it and it worked til I accidentally messed it up - they sent me a BRAND NEW Frankford Arsenal one - it has been going and going and going for over 13 years (it is still going) NO PROBLEM - for me, I paid my money and got two great tumblers...oh, did I mention, the Frankford tumbler was sent to me free of charge, even though I confessed to having messed it up and that it was not due to any manufacturing problem. THAT, dear sirs, is customer service and Midway stands behind their products. Oh, for the China bashers, you will find that motors are almost all made in China, India, or Latin America. Time to get real.... STL Suomi
Mustang Gregg
I have had several of them in the past. Some lasted 3 or 4 years. And a couple gave it up in a month. Usually it was a motor bearing problem. A couple were recalled and replaced for free. I still have 2 for moly coating bullets. They are not often used and are still working. Ketchum Quick, SASS #72923
I had a Midway tumbler for about 15 years. Ran until last year. I replaced it with Lyman jumbo turbo monster and I am happy. Most evertying that has more than one piece in it,,, at best, should say assembled in the USA. You got it. PS: Probably the steel and paint in the Tumber came from China. PS, down at the farm store yesterday. Manager was loading up a trailer full of bulk fertilizer, he said the fertilizer came from China. Sad. Nothing last forever and even tho my old Frankford died a couple a months ago ( after almost eight years of service, I might add )....I got another; and I'm just as happy as I can be with it. It does the job that I ask and I got no complaints on price or quality of Frankford. If and when this one goes to tumbler heaven....I'll stick with Frankford.
