MIDWEST CLASSIC 2012

Howdy to all

 

Wow what a couple of weeks. We had The Midwest Classic and then the next day headed out for the Texas State Championship. We got back home( or actually Sparta) this morning around 3:00 am.

 

I would like to personally thank each and every person who shot with us at The Classic. I know many of you who could not be here this year in person supported us in spirit and here on the wire THANK YOU very much also. The Classic had 140 shooters and over 200 cowboys at the awards party. We were supported by 12 vendors all of them were located inside the main pavilion and open for us to browse every evening. It was really nice when the weather blew in at night not to worry about our vendors wears becoming victims of nature.Speaking of weather we were blessed with great weather most of the time we were actually on the range a little cool on the first day but overall very good.

We were joined by 70 plus hot rods,antique and custom vehicles at the pick your 50's party with about 150 folks in them. We also had almost 200 people from the surrounding communities come out to see what the weekend was all about. Thanks to all the SASS family we exposed over 300 potential new shooters to the great game of Cowboy Action Shooting.

 

We had plenty of shooting for all 3 days with 5 stages of the Black Powder state championships, warm up match , variety of side matches, Wild Bunch, team matches and the 10 stages of main match.

 

The first leg of the 2012 Triple Crown was a big success and we just could not do it without all of you.
