Coffee Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 From the little I have been able to discover The Heritage Rough Rider is Made from Parts from Pietta (I like my 3 sets of Pietta Pistols) but they are assembled in Florida with a transfer bar system. GG ~ The Heritage is a very inexpensive(cheap) entry level firearm.it may look vaguely like a Colt SAA, but that's the extent of it. Produced in Florida, I believe, but not 100% sure.Their convertible SA .22/22 Is an OK Plinker. I personally have no desire to shoot their big bore SA's. Abilene Slim SASS 81783 Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 I had a .45 cal Heritage Big Bore pistol. Made by Pietta, it was as smooth out of the box as many pistols I've handled with action jobs. The grip was cheaply finished, but that was easily refinished. Great gun, especially for the price.
