Loophole LaRue, SASS #51438
Some neat video of 1st US jet flights...and the men who dared to fly them. The door bell buzzer cracks me up. http://www.aircraftowner.com/videos/view/americas-first-jet-flight-october-1942_1617.html LL
Captain Woodrow Cahill, SASS # 54363
What's remarkable is that it was 13 months from concept to flying prototype. No reams of paperwork, no alphabet soup of agencies, just a get-it-done attitude.
Abilene Slim SASS 81783
Gotta love the "rumble seat" in front of the cockpit.
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Gotta love the "rumble seat" in front of the cockpit. That would put some wind through your ears. Not an wing nut by any means, but as a kid, I knew just about every fighter and bomber that the US had in WWII. I had always thought that Korea was the birthplace of war birds for the US.
