Iron Pony
Well, we dont hold a patch on these folks and how they spend money on their "hobby". Did see a neat event where a guy bought a custom 2011 Shelby Mustang GT with proceeds going to the wounded warrior program, paid $500,000 dollars, donated it back on the spot and the car was auctioned a second time for $450,000. That was close to one million dollars raised in about 10 minutes. Pretty classy move on the part of the first buyer.
Bama Red
I had the DVR record all three days of that auction and Springfield Lil and I have been watching it as we get a chance. There have been a whole bunch of beautifully restored mid-50's, mostly Chevy, pickups going for what I consider very reasonable prices - Mid teens to high 30's. Pickup 1 and from the sublime to the ridiculous: AM General
