Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
I have a fellow that wants me to ship him a gun that he wants to buy. He keeps asking me if I will ship to Texas. Do you Texicans have any special laws about shipping to Texas?

Bugscuffle
This is all in the jurisdiction of the ATF&E. It is federal, and the state of Texas doesn't have anything to do with it. As long as it is fromout of state it has to go through an FFL.
Flashpowder Hal
Hey Badger, If'n ya' give thet gun ta' me, Ah'll ship it ta' Texas fer ya' . Trust me
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172
Well, if I sell it to him, it will go through an FFL or it won't go. I just thought that there might be something unusual about shipping firearms into Texas. Can't imagine what, but in this crazy world maybe you have to wear brown and yellow shoe laces and cross your eyes before you tape the box shut. But Texas is a lot better than some of the others I am sure. They don't seem to be afraid of guns.

Big Jake1001
Is this a Handgun? A rifle or shotgun can be mailed by you at the USPS. A Handgun, rifle or shotgun made before Jan 1st 1899 can be mailed. If it's newer than that, it should be mailed to an FFL in Texas. Just sayin' Big Jake
