Diamond S Doug
When I bought my first double the previous owner had installed one of the mercury filled recoil reducers. To hold it in place he filled the rest of the cavity with wood glue and now I can't get to the screw to get the stock off to change the springs. From my point of view the only option is to cut the stock off and put on a new one. Anyone have one available or have any advise. Thanks in advance
Laredo Jim
Try an auger bit to drill the glue out. When close to the recoil reducer try a long flat screwdriver to chisel the glue.

Thanks to all the responses will try to drill out the glue. It sure is a mess.

What do you plan on doing with the reducer? if you are going to get rid of it I am interested.
