It would be very interesting to see what San Antonio looked like at the time. The movies make it look like the fort was out on the lone prairie someplace. It is actually right smack dab in the middle of downtown San Antonio. It's really hard to visualize what it must have looked like back then when you're actually there. I did clinicals there for a semester my last year in college, and at the time San Antonio and Phoenix were switching back and forth as the 9th and 10th largest cities in the US, so it's quite a large city.
