Nice rifle. Looks like a shooter. How does it pattern?

You said that it was a .22? LR short or what?

Yes it is a shooter.

Here is me getting it on line:

and here is the proof shots:

proof shots

I was shooting inside my barn, target distance was 15 yards... wanted the shot placement about 1 1/2" high to be on zero between 50 and 60 yards using standard velocity .22 Long Rifle target ammunition.

...and this is with shooting off a makeshift table, barrel on a shot bag, and me holding the rifle....

I like it! Does it have a 7/16 front dovetail and whose sights are on it?

Want to upgrade the original sights on my 44 .22 lr to something repeatable.

Stevens 44 receiver

Stevens 44 Side

Love those old single shots!
