Mad Dog Jack, SASS #77862 Posted March 9, 2012 Share Posted March 9, 2012 I looked into the conversion because I have a progressive nerve disease that I thought would necessitate a change from FCD to FC and wanted the half cock to keep me from having to cycle through the whole cylinder if my thumb slipped. Jim Bowie and I talked about it at Winter Range this year, it would be no advantage to me speed wise as I am not in the class of shooter who has to pay attention to the mods the really fast shooters use in order to keep up. But...it appears my legs will give out before I need to change to two handed shooting, so I'll leave the Rugers alone. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
