Oklahomabound Posted March 3, 2012 Share Posted March 3, 2012 Got up early this morning and fixed breakfast for Ms. Mary Matilda... ...fresh squeezed orange juice ...hot cafe' mocha ...thick sliced hickory smoked bacon ...blue berry pancakes ...real butter ...warm maple syrup ...cleaned up the kitchen ...and did the dishes... ...just got the new gun yesterday afternoon!!!! Sorry I missed breakfast. A little .22 rifle... Stevens Favorite ('94) case hardened .22 long rifle, 24" octogon barrel with tang sight; our local gunsmith just finished it up yesterday. Pulp, SASS#28319 Posted March 3, 2012 Share Posted March 3, 2012 Well, I got up, had my usual Frosted Mini Wheats and a piece of toast with honey/cinnamon/butter (actually Smart Balance), then fixed my wife a ham and cheese omelet with a warmed up leftover biscuit. Ain't I the nice guy? I didn't get a new gun either, but I did reload my NAA with shot shells, since I'm going out to the 80 today to check fences. The fence goes through a really nasty slough and it's warming up enough down here to wake up the rattle headed copper moccasins. Those little critters are really grumpy after a long winter's nap.
