Col. Nathan C. Riddles, SASS # 7462 Posted March 2, 2012 Share Posted March 2, 2012 Pards I need a rear sight for an Erma Werke/Iver Johnson M-1 22 LR Carbine. I bought the little carbine from a dealer back in Ky and picked it up today @ my ffl and the rear sight was broken off. It goes w/o saying that I was ticked about it since it was due to poor packaging. It was wrapped in newspaper and put in a box that was 2 1/2 times as big as needed. I should send it back but these little guns aren't that easy to find & I want to keep it even if I have to have a smith make a sight. I know some guys mount a scope on em and throw the iron sights in a drawer. I know it's a long shot but I'm hoping one of you might have one. Here's a pic of what I'm looking for: Rear Sight.
