Bottom Dealin Mike, SASS #22273 Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 This Russian replica is chambered in .45 Colt instead of .44 Russian, but it was still fun to shoot.
Gunner Gatlin, SASS 10274L Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Great vid BDM - to manage recoil I bet the C45S would be great. I do like the fact that you report no binding issues with 45 Colt BP loads that some here have experienced with their Uberti and S&W (repo) Schofield revolvers.. GG ~
Bottom Dealin Mike, SASS #22273 Posted March 1, 2012 Author Posted March 1, 2012 I was kind of surprised because I've experienced binding with Russians in the past. The gas deflector on this gun doesn't appear to be any bigger than others, so I don't know why it did so well...but it did.
Driftwood Johnson, SASS #38283 Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Mike, you're having entirely too much fun making all these videos.
Virgil Ray Hality, SASS# 37355 Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 I was kind of surprised because I've experienced binding with Russians in the past. The gas deflector on this gun doesn't appear to be any bigger than others, so I don't know why it did so well...but it did. Yup ... some bind and some don't. Nice video.
Bottom Dealin Mike, SASS #22273 Posted March 4, 2012 Author Posted March 4, 2012 I wish my Schofield shot B-P as well as this Russian.
