(Back-up sold) Gun 1: 1866 16 inch round barrel in 38 Special: 3rd Gen short stroke kit and action job; leather butt wrap leather lever wrap: upgraded front sight; holds 10 rounds; engraved forearm. Wood is excellent; brass is brilliant with the usual few scratches. This gun is beautiful and a shooter. $900.00 face to face or plus shipping. If you are NOT an FFL holder, as a private citizen you can ship an approved long gun (all CAS long guns are) to an FFL in California with no additional pain or paper work - same as any other state. The extra steps come (for long guns) in ONLY if you are an FFL (you'd have to take 5 min to register for a number on the State website), and that has spawned a lot of misunderstanding. Gun 2: back up gun 1866 16 inch round barrel in 38 Special Cody Conagher short stroke and action work; leather butt wrap; leather lever wrap; front sight is epoxied large pistol primer (works great); wood shows usual gun cart dings; brass is good, no pitting but could use a good cleaning; buckhorn rear sight; Great shooter $825.00 face to face or plus shipping. These guns are magnificent for a new young and or lady shooter that wants a light, short barrel gun that shoots great.
