Spent Friday walking around the show and came upon a display with Wyatt Earp's model P Colt. It had ivory grips that were shrinking with age and a nickel finish that was well worn. Had a 7.5 barrel in 45lc. Also on display was Geronimo's Springfield rifle. Didn't expect to see these at a gem and mineral show. Also got to talk to a silversmith/jeweler that makes fancy grips for SA Colt/clones. He had three sets but at two thousand a set I passed. He said that if I wanted my own design it would cost $3500. Nice looking if you like that sort of thing. His name was Freeman. Since I am not a collector or rich I have made a personal rule to not buy any accesories for my guns that cost more than the gun. I didn't have my camera with me but used my cell phone. If I can get them to transfer to the computer I'll add them here.
