JONNY T. SASS 16453
Selling my pair of consecutive serial numbered Colt Frontier Sis Shooters with 7 1/2 barrels. Nothing like shooting real Colts and have had great amount of fun with these over the past 12 months. There has been NO action work done to these pistols as they didn't need any in my opinion. They come with all original boxes and paper work. These were carried in buck lined holsters and there is a little ware to the end of the barrel, side of the bulls eye extractor, tip of the extractor housing and there is NO cylinder ring on either pistol. Selling them to fund much needed project so I wouldn't be interested in any trades. Selling the pair for $2500.00 which will cover the shipping and insurance within the lower 48 states. Should there be any additional cost we would need to talk about them. http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p209/smokewagonjack/P1010001-11.jpg http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p209/smokewagonjack/P1010008-3.jpg http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p209/smokewagonjack/P1010018-2.jpg http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p209/smokewagonjack/P1010001-12.jpg http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p209/smokewagonjack/P1010002-9.jpg http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p209/smokewagonjack/P1010003-5.jpg

Texas Jim Henry, SASS #20616
I believe the run of Frontier Six Shooters with the acid-etched panel on the barrel was relatively short. I bought a 5½" just because I really liked the concept. If you go out on an auction site like Gunbroker.com, you seldom see them being offered for sale any more. Bottom line... I think Jonny T. is asking a very fair price for this pair of guns. If you like the 7½" barrels, you'd be foolish not to snap these up. I don't know Jonny T. and have no dog in the fight... just offering my not-so-humble opinion. Regards, TJH PS If they were sporting some nice ivory grips, my guess is that they'd already be in Ivory Jack's gun safe!
The Reverend
I'm pretty sure I want these, let me talk to my FFL and see what he is going to charge me. Since it is a within CA sale, I bet he will want to charge me sales tax also and that's almost another 10%. Are they marked "Frontier Six Shooter" on the barrel? Howdy TJH - I've handled these beauties and if I had the money they'd already be in my safe. PS: I've already got two sets of one piece bark ivory grips sitting in the safe just looking for a pair of Colts like these.
Occoquan Zeke
Johnny, I started to salivate and broke out in a cold sweat when I saw your post about the Colts. They sure would look sweet beside my 7-1/2" Opentops and '75 Remingtons. Sounds like a great deal but, if I buy them my wife will more than likely divorce me. It might be worth it, but then again, I'd have to sell those colts (and the other aforementioned guns) in the settlement. Zeke
