1866 in .22 rimfire

Howdy,

I have decided to reluctantly sell my Uberti made 1866 carbine in .22 rimfire.

Ive had it for a while and find its just a little too heavy for my messed up back.

It looks like and shares a lot of parts with the uberti .38 carbine.

It is not being produced probably due to sales of the .38 being so good.

It has had several owners, it has a buffalo nickle in the stock, not the best

workmanship but kinda period.

When I bought it, it had some cheap sights that didnt work well and two

drilled and tapped holes on the tang.

I located and bought and installed a nice tang sight and a new front sight

and capped the rear barrel sight dovetail.

I saw one in nicer shape for about $1600 on gunbroker,

I just want to recover my costs so its $850 plus about $25 or whatever

to cover shipping and insurance to your ffl.

The brass has a medium tarnish as I dont polish my brass guns, I want em

to look like the $13,000 ones at the cada shows.

I havent figgered out the photobook tricks and dont have any pix right now.

I will take pix saturday and email em to anyone who emails me their address.

Its a uberti 66 with some honest wear, works fine.

Best

Just a bump for CR:

These are fine little rifles that make great practice rifles for CAS. Any of the short stroke kits that fit the center fire versions of the toggle guns will work in these rimfire versions. Good price too!
