John Barleycorn, SASS #76982
Hi Pards, I looking to trade a Winchester 12ga 1897 E series take-down 28" Bbl for a new or used Norinco/IAC trenchgun for Wild Bunch matches. Here are a few pictures more info if interested. http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn256/lazerblazer95/100_1095-1.jpg http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn256/lazerblazer95/100_1094-1.jpg Thanks, JB
Badlands Beady
Isn't the "trenchgun," as opposed to the vanilla '97, illegal for WB?
BLACKFOOT SASS #11947
The trench gun is OK for wild bunch, not for CAS. Blackfoot

elalynn
Had my local gunsmith modify my dad's old 1897 Winney that was manufactured in 1911. Cut the barrel to 18 inches. Installed fiber optic front sight. Chopped stock 2 inches and added KickEze buttpad. Repaired and refinished stock & foregrip to their original beauty. Applied non-glare ceramic coat finish on all the metal. She is an absolute beauty, and for me, far more useful than in her original configuration. My Pop would be proud of her. So thankful that I did not sell or trade her.
