Not looking to break the bank, but am looking for something reliable. I am a C&R and expect this to be shipped to my C&R address. So what do you have? I do have a Yugo SKS and a Model 96 Swedish Mauser listed here that I would be willing to offer up in trade. Both are C&R eligible.Thanks to all. It's too new to go to a C&R What year was it made? I understood that 1957 was the last year Winchester produced these. The 50 year rule would mean anything manufactured up to 1961 is eligible. Mudflat Mike, SASS #20904 Posted January 31, 2012 Share Posted January 31, 2012 Oops, my mistake, I thought the cut off date was 1897. That's for antique status. This gun was made in 1939. It's still got alot of blue left, but there is a spot of bad pitting on the reciever, near the top (blood) The stock needs to be re sanded, the varnish is crinkled.
