Deuce Stevens SASS#55996
I have seen no difference in shooting them cut 18" to 22". Besides the fact that they easier to navigate props with (that probably is not as a big a factor if you shoot 50 sec. stages). And despite what some will tell you there is not a special place in hell for folks that cut down barrels. Wyatt
19½" When taken down, both halves are the same length. YMMV. PWB 21" with LOP 15" works for me After all they are called LONG GUNS Wyatt
Sergeant Smokepole #29248L
I still have the 32 inch full choke barrel in mine. I dabbled with the idea of shortening it but now have no intentions of cutting it. It's only original once.... Plus, it's a really right original finish (rough) gun made in 1912... That's character..... Not pitting.....lol

Actually, there's this really cool corner area that I've got dibbs on.
Lone Dog, SASS #20401
I wouldn't. Why not just buy a barrel to lop off or one that is already short and spare the one that came on the gun?
