Filthy Lucre, 55674L
Yesterday was our 5th sunday shoot at Chorro Valley Regulators. It was also the same day as the SLOSA EXPO put on by the San Luis Obispo Sportsman's Association. Folk were shuttled in by bus from the local college to the various venues. All the ammo was provided for us by a NRA grant. They only expected about 500 folk. Last count was around 1500. I think most of those showed up at our shoot for the CAS shooting demos. I had a young man wanted to shoot the shotgun, he was around 6/7 and not much bigger than the gun. We made him a rest to put the gun on. Packed bodies behind him and he let go 2 shots. The grin on his face made the day worthwhile. He hit both targets. Thanks to SASS for the advertising materials and SLOSA for putting on the event and maybe we'll get some more Cowboys out of it.
