spf(KY) Savage 24 deluxe 410 gauge / 22lr $400 shipped and insured to your FFL.

Shipped from me to your FFL.

California is fine, if your FFL accepts from me.

This savage was made in about 1962, I believe.

The wood is pretty nice for its age.

The barrels are blue looks good as well. They are 24 inches long.

The receiver is aluminum with engraving and is also in good condition.

For the most part the dings are minor.

The single largest blemish is the buttpad were there is a chip broken out of the top. See the picture.

The buttpad still works just fine. It is just the worst blemish on an otherwise pretty nice looking old huntin gun.

In the 4 or 5 boxes of 410 shells, I have shot, there have been no failures to fire or extract.

In the 2 or 3 hundred 22 lr shells, I have shot, most have fired first time and almost all have extracted.

I have had to cock a second time on 22lr shells to fire.

There is a manual ejector for the 22lr that you can use to extract if the 22 shell does not extract on its own.

Usually on clean ammo you do not need this manual ejector.

However, on birdshot with the old crimped brass end, you will need it.

The top barrel (22 lr) is grooved for a scope to mount.

The bottom barrel (410 bore) has 3 inch chamber.

I believe it is full choked, but do not see that now on the barrel.

I consider it a very pretty old squirrel and rabbit gun.

I sell it because, when I get a new item, I let an old item go, generally.

I am near Louisville, Kentucky.
