I compare the Colt Sheriff's Model .44-40 to a Charter Arms .44 Bulldog

I like the Colt Sheriff's Model revolver alot more than the Charter Arms Bulldog .44 Special revolver. It is much faster to load and unload the hand ejector action on a Charter Arms Bulldog revolver, but I don't think that reloads are going to be necessary for the encounters where a snubbie revolver is going to be used. One or two badguys at very close range.

I have 12 44s in single actions and I love them .

But I do Carrie a Carter Arms Bull Dog in 44 special .

Buy the way (just for the info ) Charter Arms also is a 100% American made Gun :FlagAm:

Nice Sheriff Model :o

I'm a fan of the 44 special, have 2 Vaquero Sheriff models and a

Charter Arms bulldog Pug, I've carried both, but the bulldog is

a titch lighter and easier to carry me thinks.

Happy trails
