As a writer, she is asked to do things like speaking engagements and also contribute to various online blogs. The most recent "one day" blog that she did was on a site called Petticoats and Pistols - which, if I understand it correctly, is a web site dedicated to (mostly gals) that love reading the western romance genre and the writers of the books they read. Since my wife has been supportive of my SASS/CAS excitement, she decided to use it as the topic of the blog she was asked to do. She may not have all the facts right, be I think she did a good job of representing the interest of the "sport". Of course, she loves the west and cowboys, likes to shoot my guns - just not up to getting involved in the sport herself. Based on the comments posted by some of the readers of the blog, it seems there is a lot of interest in cowboy action shooting among the ladies. Link to the blog I referenced above...
