El Muerto Negro
Hi Pards Im getting into reloading my wife has an older Ohaus scout 2 digital scale Item # sc4010. Its a 400x0.1g capacity. I would need to get the cal weights to use. I know Ohaus is a good scale. My Questions are is the 0.1g how accurate it is? Is it worth to get the cal weights(not sure of price) or better just starting with a new scale? Would this do the job for what I need? Do I need to let it warm up before use and if so for how long? As always anything I missed or you want to share would be appreciated. Thank you El Muerto Negro
BLACKFOOT SASS #11947
The Ohaus scale will be plenty accurate at .1g for the things that we do. We don't need laboratory accuracy in reloading. As far as calibration weights, I think that your best bet would be to contact the manufacturers customer service dept. I can't imagine them being too expensive.
