Ohaus Scout 2

Hi Pards

Im getting into reloading my wife has an older Ohaus scout 2 digital scale Item # sc4010. Its a 400x0.1g capacity. I would need to get the cal weights to use.

I know Ohaus is a good scale. My Questions are is the 0.1g how accurate it is? Is it worth to get the cal weights(not sure of price) or better just starting with a new scale? Would this do the job for what I need? Do I need to let it warm up before use and if so for how long? As always anything I missed or you want to share would be appreciated.

Thank you

The Ohaus scale will be plenty accurate at .1g for the things that we do. We don't need laboratory accuracy in reloading. As far as calibration weights, I think that your best bet would be to contact the manufacturers customer service dept. I can't imagine them being too expensive.
